US - Cyprus Annual Awards for Commercial Excellence

EXCELLENCE AWARDED: The US Embassy has honoured 10 Cypriot firms for distinguishing themselves in promoting exceptional commercial activities between the US and Cyprus in 1999.  The awards were presented by US Ambassador Donald Bandler during a ceremony at the Nicosia Hilton. Referring to commercial ties, Bandler said the US was a reliable trade partner, retaining a leading position in overall statistics.  Beyond trade, the US remains ever supportive of strengthening ties in the broad business domain, including the promotion of new services, tourism and investments.
